A bivouac is a rudimentary camp to spend the night on a hike or a tour of several days. In Morocco, this dwelling nomads in the desert is now coveted by tourists not only during the nights in the desert as the dunes of Merzouga, Zagora, Mhamid dunes Chegaga Tafraout or White Beach in the south, but also for dinner with folklore evenings organized for special groups (incentives). Bivouac southern Morocco 1: Bivouac in the dunes of Merzouga
The dunes of Merzouga and Erg Chebbi are one of the most beautiful sand dunes in Morocco. They are located 350 km from Ouarzazate and Erfoud 30km. Do not miss the best sunset and sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga. The camp is located in an oasis which can be reached after a walk of an hour and a half dromdaire from the hostel to the dunes of Merzouga. To reach the dunes, we pass by a reg on a desert plateau, connecting Rissani, the village of Hassi Lebied and Merzouga center.

After 2 hours 4×4 Mhamid, crossing sand dunes, wadis and growing nomads large Moroccan Sahara, it is reaching the bivouac dunes chegaga. It is located 150 km from Zagora and 300 km from Ouarzazate. Desert chegaga is ideal for people wishing to spend a night under nomad tents in a place away from the tourist sites. The starry sky and the spring breeze make this a must.
