Description
Day 1 : Marrakech – Asni – Tizi n’test – Taroudant
Early start to Taroudant crossing the Berber village of Asni; the Ouirgane valley; the High Atlas and Tizi N’taste (2200 m). Arrive in Taroudant and city tour; with its monument and the two souks (Arab and Berber), called the small Marrakech. Overnight at hotel in Taroudant.
Day 2 : Taroudant – Ighrem – the valley of Tazagzaoute – Tafraoute
After breakfast depart by tarmac road to the Anti-Atlas and Ighrem to discover Berber villages and the valley of almond trees. After Ighrem, we take a trail through the valley of Tazagzaoute with its procession of palms. Arrival in Tafraoute at the end of the afternoon. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Tafraoute – Ait Mansour –Tafraoute
Departure for a day to explore the region of Tafraoute with its painted rocks, Valley of Amelnes and the valley of Ait Mansour. Back in the late afternoon to Tafraoute. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : Tafraoute – Col Kerdous – Tiznit – Agadir – Essaouira
Departure to Tiznit through the neck Kerdous; Agadir then to follow the Atlantic coast to Essaouira (Mogador) through banana fields and Tamanarte. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Essouira – Chichaoua – Marrakech
Visit of the city of Essaouira in the morning. Afternoon departure to Marrakech via Chichester. End of circuit.
